Indigenous Appeal Fund
The Indigenous Appeal Fund is an active fund, currently open to receive donations from supporters. It exists to offer scholarships to Indigenous students exclusively. Moore has had very few Indigenous students in its history and our aim is to have a minimum of three Indigenous students in full-time courses on campus at all times.
International Student Fund
The International Student Fund offers postgraduate and undergraduate scholarships for the growing number of church leaders seeking training at Moore in order to return to home countries. The fund is currently open to receive donations from supporters. Increasingly, Moore College is equipping and sending graduates to varied ministries around the world, including overseas and Australian students who commit to global ministries. The majority of international students who join us at Moore return to varied ministries in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, primarily as preachers or missionaries.
Regional Australia Student Fund
The Regional Australia Student Fund is an active fund, currently open to receive donations from supporters. It provides scholarships to students coming from regional Australia, or training to serve in regional ministries. Many churches in regional centres and towns need our help. Chief amongst these needs is the ongoing provision of well-trained men and women to minister in our regions and their towns.
Global Ministry Scholarship Fund
The ‘Moore Global Ministry Scholarship Fund’ was founded in 2020 due to a donation from a family supportive of Moore College and the ministry of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES). It is an ‘open fund’ in the sense that others may make donations towards it at any time in order to continue to build the fund. The fund seeks to offer support to attend Moore College for international students who have been involved in Christian ministry (including those who have been involved with AFES), who are seeking further theological education to equip them for ministry and leadership.
Overseas DBT Scholarship
The Overseas DBT Scholarship program offers an external program in the international student’s home country typically to equip them for an existing ministry. The scholarship provides 75% of the fees payable for each successful recipient for the 8 subjects within the Diploma of Biblical Theology. Recipients must be overseas students not resident in Australia, engaging in ministry in their home country, or preparing for a specific ministry role.
